OUR STORY

How we started

 

In January 2013 I lost my beloved Nanna Buddie. My Daughter Esmie had been born in the November of the previous year and her Christening had been arranged for 17 March 2013. Usually my Mother made all our families special occasion cakes. However, she had travelled with my Aunts and Uncle to lay my Nanna to rest in India with her Husband. 

 

So..... I decided, in Mum's absence, I would have a bash at making Esmie's Christening cake. As it turns out, I'm a pretty decent baker and decorator and Simply Cakewife was born. 

 

Not only do we make cakes and cupcakes, we also make and design both printed edible images and cake toppers and figures. 

 

Simply Cakewife is fully registered and insured. We operate from our Home in Odiham, Hampshire.
